An emergency is a situation where life is at risk and immediate assistance is required, some is being attached, a house is being broken into, intruders are found inside a home, a traffic accident has resulted in injury or danger.

Edenthopre is served by the South Yorkshire Police force.

There is no police station in the village, but it is served by a Community Constable - PC Nicky Fulton

PC Fulton works closely with the Edenthorpe Community Safety Wardens.
