Its aim is to help young people to develop in today’s society and prepare them for adult lives.

All students are valued as individuals and given as much opportunity as possible to reach their full potential. The school believes that everyone has talents and that it is the school's responsibility to discover their talents.

The school is committed to excellent and achievement of the highest quality in everything that the young people and staff do. There is a firm belief in expecting the best from everyone to achieve high standards in both academic performance and in areas outside of school.

Hungerhill's success has been based on a partnership between students, parents, governors and staff working together in partnership.
